Want to Referee?
NTSC is always looking to help players become referees. First step is to attend a referee certification class and pass the test. Then you must work with a referee assignor to work you into the game schedule. NTSC can help you with these steps. Contact us if you are interested in becoming a referee.

You must be at a minimum, 13 years old to attend the Grade 9 (Up to U-14 Youth Referee) Entry Level Certification course. 14 is the minimum age to attend the Grade 8 course.

The absolute best site to answer your questions about becoming a referee, continuing referee education, and looking up referee assignors is the North Carolina Soccer Referees Association site. This site contains a detailed FAQ list, and all of the necessary dates for upcoming referee clinics.
