Recreation Soccer
North Carolina Youth Soccer Association defines a Recreation team as one: that does not use tryouts, invitations, recruiting or any like process to roster players selectively to any team on the basis of talent or ability. The system utilized for rostering players must be a fair and balanced distribution of playing talent among all teams participating. Every child must play at least one-half of each game except for reasons of injury or discipline.

Northern Triad Soccer Club - Recreation Soccer

For most players, recreation soccer is their introduction to the game. The NTSC recreation program is looking to provide a solid foundation of soccer skills in a small team and fun environment. We focus on small team sizes and play small sided games to have all players participating and touching the ball frequently. In the recreation division there are no team standings kept.

Registration Information

The teams are formed each fall and spring season. New players can sign up in either the fall or the spring but we encourage you to sign up in the fall time for both seasons. For additional information about registration dates and times, check the NTSC Registration page.
