Players wishing to join Northern Triad's Competitive Soccer Program (Classic or Select) must participate in a tryout in order to be eligible to join
the clubs competition program. Each Tryout is open to all age appropriate players.
Tryout registration is required. Online Registration is now open (see the registration link below) and can be accessed from the website. A non
refundable registration fee of $25 is charged. PLAYERS WHO SIGN UP FOR TRYOUTS ON THE DAY WILL BE CHARED $45!

You MUST submit the following paperwork at tryout check in:
1.NCYSA MEDICAL WAIVER Completed - team name and jersey number should remain BLANK
2. Photo Copy of players birth certificate
3. A 1x1 inch colour head shot of player, with players NAME ON BACK.
Check List For Players
1. Plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to tryout start time, allowing sufficient time to check in.
2. Players will check in at the check in desks located at the concession stand at the soccer complex.
3. Players will received a tryout T-shirt, which is to be WORN BOTH TRYOUT SESSIONS, as it shows identification number.
4. Wear shin guards and bring a soccer ball.
5. Dress appropriately for weather conditions.
Evaluation Process
Classic & Select
Tryouts are open to all and are conducted by the Director of Coaching ,NTSC Professional Coaching Staff and Varsity High school coaches. Players
are evaluated over two sessions to determine the most appropriate placement for each player. Each tryout session lasts 90 minutes.
How Players Are Evaluated: Each player that attends tryouts is evaluated on individual technical ability, psychological skills
(Decision making), Tactical skills (positional awareness) and their social skills (ability to interact with other players).
Team Selection:
Classic: Players are grouped together with the purpose of creating highly competitive teams, allowing players to be placed in developmentally
appropriate levels. There maybe multiple teams in each age group, depending upon the number of players, with the Red team being the 1st team
and the white team being the 2nd team. Players that are not selected for a Classic team will be offered the opportunity to be considered for a
select team.
Select: The number of teams formed in the select division is based on the quality and number of players available.
Following Tryouts
Acceptance
Acceptance by a player and his/her family is considered binding, and are expected to make full commitment to their respective program
for its duration.
This commitment includes, but is not limited to:
1. Filling the roster spot for the entire season/year
2. Fulfilling all training, game, and financial commitments
Shortly after completing tryouts, selected players will received an acceptance email inviting them to join a team specific team. Players
are expected to make a decision to join a team they have been selected for within 72 hours, and acceptance must be completed online. Part
of acceptance is payment of the acceptance fee. This is not an extra fee, but rather the first installment of the players total NTSC fees. Once
this acceptance is made, the player and his/her family are committed to the team and club for the entire playing year and are expected to fulfil all
commitments. Once you have accepted the offer to join Northern Triad Soccer Club, you are ineligible to play for another club, players who play for
another club at the same time will have their playing rights and card terminated with immediate effect.
